Our Foundation Programme Celebration Evening was held on Wednesday the 22nd Feb at The Marriot Hotel, after three years of being on pause! It was a great chance to celebrate the achievement of current as well as past students and a wonderful opportunity to see how far they have progressed during their time at Durham University!
The event was hosted by Stephen Leech and Allison McManus who presented the awards to students! It featured a drinks reception, as well as some wonderful food.
We also had the chance to hear some great student testimonials about their experience on the programme! Such as Grace Pantasri, a 3rd year Biology student! She recalled, “The foundation programme provided a really good community and supportive environment, with engaging and interactive classes! There was a lot as a lot of support from the tutors, who were friendly and approachable and the teaching materials provided some of the necessary fundamental knowledge for my course!”
It is wonderful to see the positive impact the programme leaves upon our students and we look forward to hosting it again next year!
