Decolonising Research Practice

As part of Durham University’s Decolonising the Curriculum workshop series, this Decolonising Research Workshop is co-hosted by the Africa Centre for Scholarship, Stellenbosch University, and Durham Research Methods Centre, Durham University.

We will be discussing how to decolonise research practice covering the lifecycle of a research project, from building the team and design decisions, to data collection, analysis, interpretation and publication. We hope this interdisciplinary forum will provide the opportunity to share, reflect on, challenge and change research practices.

This virtual event is only open to students and staff from Stellenbosch and Durham Universities and is free to attend. Reflections on the event will be posted on the Durham Research Methods Conversations Blog
