From 13-16 May 2019, Northumbria University played host to the annual Blackboard Teaching & Learning Conference.
Northumbria recently implemented Blackboard Ally providing students with the opportunity to download course materials in a format that suits each individuals own needs, whether that be a PDF, an MS Word File, an e-Book format or even in Braille.
All members of the Digital Learning team attended and presented on the findings of the JISC Student Digital Tracker and also on the implementation of Explorance Blue for module evaluations at Durham.
The Team also were awarded with a Blackboard Catalyst Award for Community Engagement for their work in running the annual Durham Blackboard User Conference forming part of one of the largest and long running user groups. The team are currently working towards putting together the 20th version of this annual conference from the 6-8 January 2020.
